Find answers to common questions about WireDog VPN

    Getting Started

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) encrypts all your internet traffic and routes it through secure servers, masking your IP address. This means websites see the VPN server's IP instead of yours, and your ISP cannot see your browsing activity.

Simply create an account on our website, download the WireDog app for your device, and connect to a server. You can use either a standard account (email-based) or create an anonymous account with just an account number. Our 30-day money-back guarantee means you can try it risk-free.

WireDog is currently available on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. You can connect up to 5 devices simultaneously.

You can connect up to 5 devices at the same time. You can connect to WireDog on your phone, laptop, tablet, and more all at once.

    Privacy & Security

Absolutely not. WireDog operates under a strict zero-logs policy. We do not track, store, or log your browsing history, websites visited, IP addresses, or any activity data. We design our infrastructure (RAM-only servers) to make logging technically impossible.

WireDog uses the AmneziaWG protocol, a hardened evolution of WireGuard that adds traffic obfuscation on top of the same ChaCha20 encryption and Poly1305 authentication. Unlike standard WireGuard, AmneziaWG disguises your VPN traffic to look like ordinary QUIC/DoQ traffic on port 443, making it far harder for networks and firewalls to detect, fingerprint, or block.

WireDog VPN is built exclusively for Americans who want to keep their data on American soil. By maintaining 100% U.S.-based servers, we ensure your data is protected from foreign jurisdictions. This is a core part of our mission.

Our anonymous login feature allows you to access WireDog VPN using just a unique account number instead of an email address. This means even we don't know your identity. Anonymous accounts work just like regular accounts but with added privacy.

Your ISP can see that you're connecting to a VPN server, but they cannot see your actual internet traffic or which websites you visit. All your activity is encrypted between your device and our VPN servers.

    Account & Billing

On the signup page, select 'Anonymous Account' instead of entering an email. You'll receive a unique account number that you can use to log in. You never have to share your identity with us.

WireDog accepts multiple payment methods: credit/debit cards via Stripe, Monero (anonymous cryptocurrency), anonymous cash payments, and vouchers. Coming soon: Coingate, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

Yes! We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans, no questions asked. If you're not satisfied with WireDog VPN for any reason, we'll refund your full payment.

You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard. If you cancel within 30 days, you're eligible for a full refund. No cancellation fees or penalties ever.

    Technical Support

First, try restarting the WireDog app and your device. If that doesn't work: (1) Check your internet connection, (2) Try connecting to a different server location, (3) Update the app to the latest version, (4) Check firewall settings, (5) Contact support at support@wiredogvpn.com.

WireDog uses AmneziaWG, a fast, secure protocol built on WireGuard's core with added traffic obfuscation. It runs over port 443, disguised as standard encrypted web traffic, making it much harder for networks or firewalls to detect and block than traditional VPN protocols. Additional protocol options are coming soon.

VPN encryption adds minimal overhead. If you notice significant slowdowns, try: (1) Connecting to a different server, (2) Checking your ISP connection, (3) Disabling any VPN features you don't need.

Split tunneling allows you to route certain apps or websites through VPN while others bypass it. It's available now on Android, with Windows support coming soon. Configure this in the WireDog app settings under 'Advanced' or 'Split Tunneling'.

    Features & Usage

Yes, WireDog VPN is compatible with streaming services. However, some streaming platforms may block VPN access. We cannot guarantee unblocking specific services.

Yes, WireDog can be used outside the US. However, since all our servers are located in the United States, you should expect increased latency when connecting from other countries. Additionally, some countries restrict or block VPN usage entirely, so availability may vary depending on your location.

All WireDog servers are located in the United States. Choosing a server closer to you can improve speed, and we're adding new U.S. locations over time β€” see our Server Locations page for the current list.
