No email, no name, no password. Your account number is your login. Best if you want the most private setup.
Both account types get the same VPN. The differences are in how you sign in, what you can recover and how you pay.

Copy it into a password manager. It's the only way into your account, and we can't recover it.

don't want to share an email, are comfortable storing your account number safely, and plan to pay with Monero, cash by mail, or a voucher.
Whichever you choose, WireDog runs RAM-only servers under a zero-logs policy. Read how we handle legal requests in our transparency report.
With WireDog VPN, yes. An Anonymous account needs only a randomly generated 16-digit account number: no email, no name and no password. The account number is your login.
A Standard account uses an email address and password, so you can recover it if you forget your login. An Anonymous account uses only a 16-digit account number, so WireDog holds no email for you, but a lost number cannot be recovered. Both give you the same VPN service, the same servers and up to 5 devices at once.
It cannot be recovered. Because an Anonymous account has no email or password attached, there is nothing we can use to verify that you are the owner. Save the number in a password manager or another secure place when you create it.
Pair an Anonymous account with Monero (XMR), cash by mail or a prepaid voucher. None of these attach your name or billing address to the account. Paying by card also works on an Anonymous account, but the card processor then holds your name and billing address, so we do not recommend it if privacy is the goal.
No. A card payment passes through a payment processor that records the name and billing details on the card. WireDog does not store your card number, but the payment itself is tied to you. Use Monero, cash by mail or a voucher if you want the payment to stay unlinked from you.
No. The 14-day free trial, when it is offered, requires a Standard account and a card. Anonymous accounts can subscribe with Monero, cash, a voucher or a card, and every plan is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Yes. Both account types connect to the same all-U.S. server network, use the same apps and support up to 5 simultaneous devices. The differences are in how you sign in, how you can recover access, and which sign-up extras are available.
Yes. Two-factor authentication is optional on both account types and can be switched off at any time with your current code. It is a good safeguard for an Anonymous account, where the account number is the only credential.
No. WireDog runs a zero-logs policy on RAM-only servers, so connection records and browsing activity are not kept. The account type you choose controls what we know about who you are; it has no effect on that policy. See our transparency report for the details.
Choose Standard if you want easy recovery, a password reset and the ability to start a free trial. Choose Anonymous if you want the most private setup and are comfortable storing your account number safely. If you pick Anonymous, pair it with Monero, cash by mail or a voucher.

If you're not satisfied, we'll refund your first payment in full within 30 days. No questions asked.
